We offer a comprehensive garment hire service from support and information through to repairs and alterations. We take care of all sizes of garment customer from one-man-band garages and tool makers up to national companies. Our system makes keeping track of every garment simple as each one is scanned in and out with a bar code scanner, so we know where your garment is at any given time.

Many businesses launder their garments or linen ‘in house’ which has previously been an economical option when handling small loads. However, this practice has many additional costs including water, electricity, chemicals, cost of repair and replacement as well as the cost of labour. All of these costs are increasing and the difference between sending your garments out and washing them in house is now a very slim margin, dependent on the in house efficiency as well as the capability of staff.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
As legislation has developed to place more responsibility on the employer to ensure the safety and the protection of the workforce, having the correct garments is becoming paramount and we aim to advise each customer, based on site operations, in order for you to meet these requirements.
In addition to the health and safety aspects, garments can be marked with the company’s name and logo, the name of the employee and – where appropriate – his/her title. This helps for on-site identification and can be used to identify fire marshals or health and safety officers. In addition to standard protective clothing, we can also provide High-Vis, flame protective and anti-static options.

What times do you deliver?
We try to work out a time that best suits both the customer, and other customers on the same route.
Typically you could expect your delivery between the times of 7:30 am and 4:00 pm.
How far do you deliver?
Buckleigh laundry originally served only the local area of North Devon.
Now our transport fleet reaches from Falmouth to Taunton.
Why would I want a managed locker system?
Using our Managed Locker System service takes the hassle away from you or your staff.
You can open a locker with confidence knowing your delivery will be there, neatly put away for you.
It also helps to keep things tidy as all your soiled garments are stored in a ‘dirty’ locker separate from the fresh, clean wear.
Why use a linen hire service?
Managing your own linen can be costly and time consuming with the problems of purchasing and maintaining your stock.
By using our linen hire service you will always have sufficient linen available without incurring a large outlay for increased amounts of stock.
