Inventory Management Systems

We maintain a computerised stock-control system which shows the movement of stock for all our customers. A stock level is applied to each customer which we aim to maintain at all times; stock collected from the customer is returned the following week (within pack sizes).

 

We understand that some customers experience seasonal fluctuations in guest numbers so we make sure that we are prepared to increase stock levels over busier periods of the year.

 

Stock checks are carried out to ensure that each customer has the required amount of linen at any given time, and we are always happy to alter levels to accommodate current requirements.

 

With regard to our garments, Buckleigh uses a bar-coding system which tracks each individual garment in and out of the plant. This also assists with the identification and history of each garment. Stock checks can also be carried out for garments.
